第95屆奧斯卡金像獎頒獎典禮台灣時間13日上午8點登場，吉勒摩戴托羅的動畫長片《吉勒摩．戴托羅之皮諾丘》（Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio）拿下最佳動畫長片，奪得第一個頒發的獎項。吉勒摩戴托羅上台時說：「動畫已經準備好進入下一世代，我們應該要多多關注動畫。」
關繼威奪下男配角，一上台就感動到哭。
今年影后獎項競爭激烈，以《媽的多重宇宙》獲國外多項大獎的亞洲影后楊紫瓊，要和強敵凱特布蘭琪搶小金人，《媽的多重宇宙》也是入圍最大贏家，共獲11獎項提名。《捍衛戰士：獨行俠》、《阿凡達：水之道》等賣座大片都擠進最佳影片入圍名單，獎落誰家各有擁護者。
